Frequently asked questions
What can Newton College offer me?
Newton College has offerings geared towards both towards people who need to rewrite matric and improve specific subject results. Maybe you just fall short of the university entry requirements for a course you are interested in.
How do your programs work?
We have set timetables where specific Matric subjects are lectured daily by professional staff. Once you have chosen and registered for the subjects you would like to write exams for, you simply follow the existing timetable by showing up at the right time for class.
Do you cover Grade 10 and 11 subject material too?
While our program is directed to getting you to pass your Matric, we do understand that often times students don't have a solid foundation on which to write the Matric exam and your teacher will direct you through the required grade 10 and 11 content to assist in building your understanding.
How many hours are given to the subjects I can choose to study with you?
Given that Newton College is a "fast track" college, our programs cover the content required to pass your matric.
What happens at the end of the time of study with Newton College?
By the time your course of study is complete with us, we assist you in registering as a private candidate at the Department of Education.
Once registered at the Department you will receive your timetable for dates on your exams. From there you pass your Matric and we celebrate with you!
